Like last year, there aren't pictures of the glitterati doing beautiful things. But the house was cleaned down to every nook and cranny for our annual holiday get-together, and that's what we're highlighting here.

After a day of cleaning from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m., every room was clean. The dogs were brushed. The floors dusted, vacuumed, and mopped, and every manner of delectable laid out for family and friends. Of course, I could have fallen asleep at the party, but I didn't and it was a smashing success.

The first grouping of pictures are from NAM's Christmas party at the Durham earlier this month, and the second group are from our party on the 18th.
