Welcome to Jennifer and Micah's new homepage. We think you'll find our adventures to be more exciting than your own.

Jennifer is Director of Visitor Services at Lauritzen Gardens. She is a native of Florence, South Carolina and went to Francis Marion University. Besides gardening, Jennifer collects vintage pyrex and likes to hold court on the front porch with friends, puppies, and neighbors.

Micah is Director of Development for a local non-profit organization. Micah is a native of Omaha, Nebraska but lived in Boston and Natick, MA for about 10 years, and attended Boston College. In his spare time, Micah is active in various Masonic organizations, and likes to lavish attention on his dogs.

We met in 1999 at the P.G. Wodehouse Convention in Houston, TX and visited each back and forth in Massachusetts and South Carolina as often as we could. I proposed on October 8, 2001 in Charleston, South Carolina, and Jennifer surprised me by agreeing to put up banns. After a suitable period, there being no objection or opposition, we were married on October 12, 2002 in Omaha, NE at the Cornerstone Bed and Breakfast in front of our family and friends. We honeymooned in September 2003, visiting Jennifer's family in Florence, SC and spending a few days in Asheville, NC at the historic Wright Inn.

In between get-rich quick schemes and restoring our Queen Anne home, we have combined our interests to a happy routine of sitting on the porch with our neighbors, grilling, spoiling our puppies, and working on the garden. We've managed to squeeze in a few trips in the last few years, and we'll put pictures up on other pages: Emily and Jan's wedding in 2002, our trip to Asheville in 2003, Mark & Molly Habemehl's wedding in 2004, and other adventures. And there's always my blog for the day-to-day erratum of our life.

So what the devil is the Drones Club, anyway?

Click here for the story of the DronesClub. It's a good story, I promise. And you'll be home in time for dinner.
